My heart was beating loudly when miss king was going to pick someone i hoped it wasn't me but then i whispered to myself i can do it and then miss king picked me and i stood up proud and i said my mihi after my mihi i sat down proud of myself now every day i want to do my mihi but sometimes i didnt get to have a turn but it was fun to watch all of the people do there mihi

making pikelets

On tuesday morning we made pikelets first we put in ½ cups of flour, 1 tsp of baking powder, 1 pinch of salt, 1 tbsp of oil, 1 egg, 2 tbsps of sugar, 1 cup of milk, to make the mixture after the mixture pour it into the pan to cook it up and when you see the bubbles that means you have to flip it over onto the other side after you could put anything you want. Our pikelets were the best!

zoo trip

Have you went to the zoo well guess what the block went to the zoo





On the bus we sang some songs. Once we got the bus we went to go see the red panda. After the red panda. We went to go see the lions and. after the lions we went to see the rhino. Then we went to see the meerkat and we went in to the tunnel to get a good look at the meerkat. after the meerkat we went to go see the giraffe and they were so tall. and then we were going to the nz native birds. after we went to bug lab after the bag lab. we had some lunch and then we went to see the flamingos. and then we went to go see the emu. And then we went to back on to the bus back to school.
